One of the most fascinating experiences is to see through a microscope and watch all the tiny creatures and structures we never have dreamed that existed. It is like a universe. This screensaver is an attempt to render what happens under the lens of a microscope. It features a series of circles that can represent drops of water falling randomly into the microscope's plate, or microbe colonies appearing spontaneously. Several dots detach themselves from the circles, representing bacteria, fungus and other micro-organisms. The idea sounds good, but, unfortunately, the rendering is awfully poor. One can see the pixels, which are constituents of different dots, and the animation effects are very rudimentary. What is more, the screensaver consumes a lot of video memory and lacks a control panel for modifying any of its settings. On the whole, frankly speaking, the screensaver does not worth trying since Windows' default screensavers are much better than this. Download it only if you want to get quickly disappointed.
